31 Dec, Itanagar: Political instability in Arunachal Pradesh has finally come to an end as Bharatiya Janta Party has claimed that it has formed a majority government in the state for the first time since independence as 33 MLAs of People’s Party of Arunachal Pradesh have defected to join BJP. PPA is now left with only 10 MLAs in the 60-member House.
Pema Khandu will remain as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh. Bharatiya Janta Party General Secretary, Ram Madhav posted this message on his Twitter account:
