JNU to deduct salary of teachers for participating in strike

New Delhi, Jan 20 (PTI) JNU teachers, who participated in a day-long strike, will lose a day’s salary, the varsity authorities have said. “Under the principle of ‘no work, no pay’, such faculty members who had participated in the strike will not be given pay and allowances for the day of strike,” JNU Registrar Pramod Kumar said in a notice issued to the faculty members. “It is proposed to take action against teachers who participated in the strike on January 17 under the laid down provisions,” he said. Telangana Government to bring bill for 12% quota for Muslims
