Gujarat improves on it’s own record with VGGS 2017

Gandhinagar , Jan 12 (PTI) Gujarat government today said that 25,578 memorandum of understanding (MoUs) were inked during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, but refrained to give the amount of investment they will generate. The state government broke the tradition of last seven editions of biennial summits of announcing the amount of investment that the MoUs will bring. Retail Inflation at a 3 year low

New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Retail inflation eased further to nearly 3-year low of 3.41 per cent in December, reflecting weak demand as consumers grappled with cash crunch following demonetisation. The decline in retail inflation has been mainly on account of falling prices of vegetables and pulses. This is the lowest level at least since January 2014. Factory output grows at 5.7% vs -3.4% last november
