On May 24, two policemen and a civilian were injured in a grenade attack at a bus stand on Jammu’s BC road. On May 23, as many as six civilians were injured in a grenade attack in Bijbehara in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag.

he incident took place when militants armed with AK47 rifles fired at a CRPF bus, which was part of a convoy on way to Jammu from Srinagar, near Green Tunnel at Samthan in Bijbehara, 50 kms from Srinagar, a police officer said.

The injured were immediately shifted to a hospital in Anantnag where the condition of some jawans is said to be serious.
