11 CPI(M) workers get Life Imprisonment for murder of BJP worker in Kerala

The law has caught up with the perpetrators of the ghastly crime involving the murder of a BJP worker in Kerala.

The Additional District Sessions Court has given a stern punishment of life imprisonment to 11 workers of CPI (M). The incident dates back to 2008 when the comrades murdered a BJP worker identified as Mahesh. The court convicted V Shiju, P Dhanesh, N Uthaman, O Babu, Chemmeri Prakashan, Manoli Umesh, V Ranjith, N Mukesh, Karat Purushothaman, C Sunesh and M Suraj.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs.50,000/- on each of the convicts.
The incident took place in Kuthuparama – a town and municipality in the Kannur District in Kerala.

The comrades of CPI (M) were not happy on Mahesh quitting CPI and joining the saffron party.

An Auto Driver by profession, he was bludgeoned to death by CPI (M) workers, when waiting for passengers.
