Actress turned TMC MPs Nusrat Jahan and Mimi Chakrobarty trolled for posing in trendy attire outside the parliament

Bengali actresses Mimi Chakrobarty and Nusrat Jahan who have recently become members of parliament after winning elections on the tickets of Trinamool Congress (TMC), were trolled on social media for posing before the parliament building in trend dresses.

The actors were slammed for how they dressed up on their first day as Members of Parliament. Earlier, after their names were announced as Trinamool candidates, the two were faced with bitter trolling over their credentials to contest elections.

Both Mimi and Nusrat shared their images on social media which triggered a trolling spree. One of the users wrote, “Did you go there to do this drama? Please do not do this drama at the Parliament and shame Bengal.”

Replying to Nusrat’s photograph, one such user wrote in Bengali, “This is not a place for photoshoot. This is a place where you should fight for the people’s rights and legislate for the country. You don’t belong here.”

Mimi Chakrobarty will be representing Jadavpur in the parliament while Nusrat will represent Basirhat.
