AIADMK takes action on TTV Dhinakaran, joining the NDA is only a formlity

SatyaVijay had earlier broken the news on 31st July 2017, that AIADMK will soon join the National Democratic Alliance under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As per our predictions, both the factions under the leadership of O Paneerselvam (AIADMK Puratchi Thalaivi) and Edappadi K Palaniswami (AIADMK Amma) have come closer together to take action on Sasikala Natarajan and TTV Dhinakaran.

AIADMK ‘may join’ NDA in August first week

Under the leader of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, the official press release from AIADMK quotes that all decisions made by Ex-General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran, henceforth are considered invalid. All the appointments made by TTV Dhinakaran are officially rolled-back. All AIADMK party-men are requested to go by the order of party high command.

The O Paneerselvam faction suggests that a similar action needs to be taken on Sasikala Natrajan as well, post which the merger between both factions will happen effectively.

But any action on TTV Dhinakaran is a direct attack on Sasikala Natrajan and the Mannargudi family. Currently, the appointment of V K Sasikala as general secretary is under dispute before the Election Commission of India, probably both factions have to wait for the commission’s order before formalizing party posts. We can soon expect a formal action on Sasikala Natrajan or an interim arrangement for both the AIADMK factions to merge.

Once both AIADMK factions officially merge, the AIADMK party will formally join the NDA alliance. This action would also be in line with PM Narendra Modi’s game plan of stitching an alliance with the AIADMK minus the Mannargudi family, said a source in the OPS camp.
