In a major embarrassment for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his trusted lieutenant and deputy Manish Sisodia, the Delhi Police will investigate them for alleged criminal conspiracy for assaulting top bureaucrat and Chief Secretary of Delhi Anshu Prakash.
1986 batch IAS officer
The 58 year old, 1986 batch IAS officer of Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre had alleged that Kejriwal and his accomplices had manhandled him on February 19th-2018 when he visited the Chief Minister’s residence for a meeting. Two AAP MLA’s are said to be involved in this dastardly act of assaulting a top government official.
IAS associations had come to the support of the Prakash by boycotting meetings called by the Chief Minister unless he tendered an unconditional apology for the abhorrent behaviour of his legislators. They took out a candle light protest march against the alleged assault on the Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash.
In his complaint letter, Anshu Prakash said that “Amanatullah Khan started hitting me without any provocation on my head and temple.”
