In a surprising turn of events, the BJP in Madhya Pradesh has claimed that the Congress led government has come into minority. Further the BJP has been sought an appointment with governor’s Anandiben Patel.
According to reports, Leader of Opposition and BJP leader Gopal Bhargava has written to governor Anandiben Patel to call an emergency session of the state assembly stating that the Congress government has lost the majority in the Assembly.
BJP leader Hitesh Bajpai, speaking to Times Now said that it’s not an overnight decision but the will of the people as the state government hasn’t been “functioning properly” since it was formed in 2018.
Bhargava himself speaking to Times Now clarified that since the past 3 months this issue couldn’t be raised the entire party was busy in elections and now the party will focus again on the functioning of the state government.
