While in his time in the BJP, actor turned politician Shatrughan Sinha was known as for regularly going the party line to criticise the policies and decisions of Narendra Modi led Government. However, now after joining the rival party Congress, Sinha seem to be going through a change of heart about PM Modi.
In a tweet on Sunday, Shatrughan Sinha said, “Since I’m famous or infamous for calling a spade a spade, I must admit here, Hon’ble PM @narendermodi @PMOIndia that your speech from the #RedFort on 15th Aug’19 was extremely courageous, well researched & thought provoking. Superb delivery of the key problems facing the country.”
Before quitting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sinha had time and again openly rebelled against his party and made several sharp attacks on the party and PM Modi.
Shatrughan added, “Many before have spoken, but didn’t go further with any solid actions or proper road map. Bravo! Kudos! You, certainly deserve to be applauded & appreciated as you have hit the nail right on the head, by speaking out on vital issues with a plan for a forward looking India.”
