In midst of Madhya Pradesh farmers protests, Adding fuel to the fire, Congress MLA Shakuntala Khatik was caught on camera asking people to set a police station on fire – with a senior cop standing right next to her pleading for her to stop. In a video that is going viral on social media, the Kerera MLA can be seen telling people, “thane mein aag laga do, aag laga do (set the police station on fire),” while a policeman can be seen requesting her to leave.

Ever since the situation worsened in Mandsaur on Tuesday, the Bharatiya Janata Party has maintained that some people have tried to instigate the agitation. “We know some Congress leaders circulated WhatsApp messages, pamphlets and addressed mobs to instigate them. Law will take its course (in this case),” Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bhupendra Singh said while talking to India Today.
