Congress MLA’s son, Mohammed Haris Nalapad, bail plea rejected by sessions court

Mohammed Nalapad, son of Congress MLA NA Haris, was arrested in connection with an assault case, few months ago. The 62nd Additional City Civil Court today rejected the bail petition of Mohammed Haris Nalapad, who was involved in a pub brawl.

In a two line judgement, the Judge said since the trial is pending, the witness might use his clout to influence the witnesses and tamper with the evidence. Mohammed Nalapad Harris has been rejected bail for the third time. Currently, Nalapad Harris and his accomplice are lodged in Parappana Agrahar jail.

In this regard, the bail petition cannot be entertained at this point of time. The charge-sheet has been filed in the case by the CCB. Nalapad was represented by his Advocate Usman while Special Public Prosecutor Shyamsundar aruged on behalf of Vidwat.

Nalapad Harris has to now approach the Karnataka High Court to get him out of Parappana Agrahara which has been his home from the past 3 months.
