Dalit man beaten up to death allegedly by Muslims in Uttar Pradesh

A young man belonging to Dalit community was beaten up to death on Monday midnight at Hathras city of Uttar Pradesh. The Pearson’s blood stained dead body was found near a Mosque on Tuesday morning. Panic spread across the area after the dead body was recovered. The deceased has been identified as 27 year old Amit Kumar Gautam by his father Rajkumar Gautam.

The victim’s father Rajkumar in statement said, his son left for some official work on monday afternoon. But when he did not return they (family) started searching for him. On Tuesday morning the family was informed that Amit has been found dead near a Mosque. When family reached the spot they found the victim’s dead body completely stained in blood and his head was crushed.

The family has lodged complaint against five locals belonging to Muslim community named Alam, Saddam, Khalid, Sukel and Ashu. The family has alleged that these five people have killed their son. The situation in the locality became tensed after the news of murder spread. Huge number of police forces have been posted at the crime spot and morgue to avoid any kind of communal clashes.

Uttar Pradesh recently witnessed communal huge clashes between communities after teenager Chandan Gupta was shot at a Muslim locality in Kasganj on Republic day. Local Muslims are accused in both the murders of Chandan Gupta and Amit Kumar.
