Does Intelligence Report say that Imminent Defeat for CM Siddaramaih in Chamundeshwari?

An intelligence report by an ADGP level officer in Karnataka has been circulating in Social Media, has sternly warned Chief Minister Siddaramaih against contesting in Chamundeshwari assembly constituency as the tide is not in favour of the Congress in the constituency. The covering letter of the report signed by the ADGP (Intelligence) see pic, has advised that the caste equations are not in favour of the Chief Minister. G.T. DEVE GOWDA MIGHT UPSET THE APPLECART OF CM?

Former close aide of CM Siddaramaih, G.T. Deve Gowda who had switched sides to JD (S) is working tirelessly to ensure the defeat of Siddaramaih in Chamundeshwari. The report says G.T. Deve Gowda is polarizing Vokkaliga votes which will have the final say in the politically sensitive constituency of Chamundeshwari.

CM Siddaramaih who represents Varuna has decided to vacate the seat to ensure his son Dr. Yathindra gets the seat and he contests from Chamundeshwari. The report has advised that the CM should contest from Varuna, Mysore; Basavakalyana, Bidar; Gangavati, Koppal or Shanti Nagar (represented by Harris whose son is in Jail in the pub brawl case).

The report has sent shock waves to the Chief Minister and his staunch supporters who were expecting a cakewalk in Chamundeshwari. Touted as the next Chief Minister, if the party returns to power, Siddaramaih might contest from two constituencies – from Varuna and Basavakalyana and vacate on seat to cut down the risk of him being defeated and denied an entry in the legislative assembly.

What is more amusing is the alleged leaked out report (Covering page of the confidential report)is viral in the social media. It is still uncertain weather the leaked document is true or fake.

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Saturday clarified that the Intelligence report, that is doing rounds on social media, stating that Chamundeshwari Assembly constituency not safe for Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, was a fake report. The Intelligence DIG has been asked to conduct a probe into the fake report, the CMO stated in a press release.

The Intelligence department has not given any such report. The report is false and fabricated. The ADGP post in the Intelligence department is lying vacant. Moreover, the Intelligence reports are usually in Kannada, not English,” the CMO explained.
