RESPECT!! Full Story of Gurpreet’s Rescue by Indian Embassy; Thanks to Sushma Swaraj

There are some moments when a human is helpless and he knows that he cannot do anything. A gun to your head, falling down from a height or getting stranded in a foreign country with no contacts… there is nothing you can do here. Except in the last situation you can tweet to the external affairs minister of your country and hope that BJP is in government.

Union Minister For External Affairs Sushma Swaraj received a message on twitter where a women and her child were forced to live in a refugee camp in Germany after being cheated by her in-law family. She was in trouble and luckily, Indian government took some steps to bring her back. Here’s the whole story:

A good samaritan, Mansi Singhania, looked at her video posted on facebook and tweeted it to Sushma Swaraj to get help.

Union Minister Sushma Swaraj responded in few minutes and asked for contact details.

Sushma Swaraj then had a word with the Indian Embassy in Germany to locate and help her as soon as possible. Further, she got Gurpreet’s father in tough with Indian embassy officials in Frankfurt, Germany within next 1 hour.

At 9.30 pm, the Officials at Frankfurt’s Indian embassy assured Sushma Swaraj that the situation will be resolved as soon as possible.

Gurpreet was located by the evening of the next day and she along with her daughter was brought safely back to Indian Embassy in Frankfurt, Germany. Here’s her pic at the embassy.

After this happened, Sushma Swaraj informed all her followers that Gurpreet and her daughter will reach New Delhi at 9:35 the next morning, i.e. today. She also gave the flight details as can be seen in the tweet below:

Finally, Sushma Swaraj also applauded the good work done by the Indian Embassy in Germany in finding Gurpreet and her daughter. It is due to the speedy work by the officials of the embassy that Gurpreet will be safely back in India today in a few minutes.
