Group of pilgrims reach Sabarimala after walking 1,094-km from Hyderabad

A group of 90 Lord Ayyappa devotees, reached Sabarimala after completing a walk of 1,094-km, starting all the way from Charminar in Hyderabad. The group which consisted mostly of Telangana natives, was led by Guruswamy Balakrishna.

Passing by grasslands, barren hills and paths adjacent to deep ravines and wild streams, the group had the pleasure of witnessing some of the most beautiful sceneries, on their route.

The walk began from Charminar of Hyderabad on 22nd of October and culminated on Tuesday at Sabarimala. Each night, they spent at temples along the road.

This walk, provided them with the opportunity of seeking blessings at some of the other prominent Hindu temples in Andhra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

To avoid being hit by vehicles while walking along the national highways, all members of the pilgrim.
