Headmaster of MP Government school suspended, for calling Kamal Nath a “decoit”

The headmaster of a government-run school in Madhya Pradesh has been suspended from his job for calling Chief Minister, Kamal Nath, a ‘daaku (decoit)’. Mukesh Tiwari, the headmaster of government-run Kanishta Buniyadi Middle School had said Shivraj Singh Chouhan is ours and CM Kamal Nath is a dacoit. The video of his speech went viral on social media.

Congress activists met met Jabalpur District Collector Chhavi Bharadwaj, demanding suspension of the headmaster. They further threatened that if their demands are not met then they will go to the will go to the education minister Prabhuram Choudhary.

The headmaster was later suspended after being found prima facie guilty, according to the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules.

Ending the 15-year-old rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath became the 18th chief minister of the state after party president Rahul Gandhi gave his approval supporting Nath for the top post.

Most of the top leaders of the Congress were present in the oath-taking ceremony, including party president Rahul Gandhi, former chief minister Digvijaya Singh and campaign committee chief Jyotiraditya Scindia.

Former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was also present at the ceremony. Chouhan, who is popularly known as ‘mama’ has cultivated ‘son of the soil’ image and is quite popular among the people of the state.
