Hindu men brutally attacked by mob in Jharkhand, forced to chant religious slogans

Two Hindu youth in Jharkhand’s Ranchi were recently attacked and forced to chant religious slogans by a mob. The youth, Shekhar and Basanth were stabbed with knife and were shown the video of Tabrez Ansari who was allegedly killed by a mob earlier this month.

According to the youth, the attack came while they were searching for their cattle on the outskirts of the city. Initially they were asked about their religious affiliations, then they were repeatedly forced to chant religious slogans.

They were also made to watch the video of Tabrez Ansari’s alleged lynching. As Shekhar and Basant refused to raise religious slogans, the angry men stabbed them with knives. One of the victims has been stabbed in the neck while the other one has been stabbed in the hand by a group of four men.

A complaint has been registered in the Argora Police Station, Ranchi against the accused. The search has begun to nab the accused.
