Hindu woman violently attacked by Christian neighbor in Telangana for doing puja inside her own house

An Andhra Pradesh based Hindu woman named Kavitha has alleged that she along with her mother were brutally attacked by their Christian neighbor for playing devotional music and conducting puja in the temple situated inside of her residence. In a video, which has now gone viral on the internet, the woman could be seen narrating her ordeal.

According to the victim, her Christian neighbor Yeshu and his family have always misbehaved with them but since a year, he became more aggressive. She said they would abuse whenever she start doing pooja or ring bells at mini temple at her house.

As per the reports, an argument broke out between the victim and Yeshu’s family on Friday morning over the former playing bhajans and ringing bills during puja inside of her residence. During this altercation, Yeshu, along with his family allegedly barged into Kavitha’s house and attacked her using iron rods. Even the 55 years old mother of Kavitha was not spared.

“In the morning, while I was performing puja at my home, a neighbour along with his father and mother brutally thrashed me and my 55-year-old mother. I had to get nine stitches on my head. They intentionally quarrelled and started beating me later,” Kavitha said.

The police has registered case in this regard and said that proper action would be taken against culprit Yeshu and his associates.
