Indian Airforce foils attempts of intrusion from Pakistan, shoots down one F16

India on Wednesday morning shoot down a F16 fighter jet of Pakistan in Lam Valley of Jammu and Kashmir’s Nowshera sector. The Pakistani jet was trying to trespass inside the Indian airspace, but all their attempts met strong response from Indian Airforce. A Sukhoi 30 jet was reportedly used by the IAF to shoot down Pakistan’s F16.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has completely suspended all the flights in its airspace. Apart from which, schools, Colleges and Universities along the LoC on Pakistani controlled territory have been closed down for indefinite periods.

PTI earlier reported that Pakistani fighter jets entered the Indian air space in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch and Nowshera sectors but were pushed back by Indian fighter jets.

Pakistan claimed that its aircraft dropped bombs while returning. However, no confirmation of the same was available not were there reports of any casualties or damage. “The jets entered Indian air space over Nowshera and Poonch sectors this morning,” officials said.
