Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday took to Twitter to fire questions at the government over the development of Covid-19 vaccine. However, before government could reach out to him with answers, Gandhi got schooled by scientist Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale.
Rahul Gandhi on Monday, fired four questions at the government regarding the development of Covid-19 vaccine. Gandhi asked, out of all the candidates which vaccine would be chosen by the government and why, who will be the first one to be vaccinated, whether PMcares fund would be used to provide free vaccines and by when all Indians would be vaccinated.
The PM must tell the nation:
1. Of all the Covid vaccine candidates, which will GOI choose & why?
2. Who will get the vaccine first & what will be the distribution strategy?
3. Will PMCares fund be used to ensure free vaccination?
4. By when will all Indians be vaccinated?— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) November 23, 2020
Gandhi perhaps thought that he posed some really difficult questions before the government and it would take some brainstorming in Health Ministry to come up with their answers. However, even before government could make any reactions, scientist Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale took Gandhi to school saying “it’s too difficult for you to understand.”
In a hard-hitting reply, Chauthaiwale said, “Dear Mr @RahulGandhi, choice of vaccine is not the same as choice of @INCIndia president, who is selected as soon as he/she is a member of Nehru family, without testing his/her competance.”
Dear Mr @RahulGandhi, choice of vaccine is not the same as choice of @INCIndia president, who is selected as soon as he/she is a member of Nehru family, without testing his/her competance. So, enjoy your vacation at Goa. It's too complicated for you to understand. https://t.co/NewobPlFnp

He concluded by advising the Congress leader to enjoy his “vacation at Goa.” This, however is not the first time when Rahul Gandhi raked up the issue of vaccine. He had been asking similar questions from quite sometime, despite regular updates from the Health Ministry on the development.
Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale is a molecular biologist. He also heads the foreign policy department of BJP.
