Japanese prime minister falls in sand bunker while golfing with Trump

US President Donald Trump’s love for golf is no secret. So naturally, it wasn’t a surprise when in his recent Asia tour he went out golfing with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the sprawling Kasumi Country Club. But, what came out as an unexpected twist was a golf gaffe — that too, one that didn’t involve Trump.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe took a tumble while trying to escape a sand trap as he golfed with President Trump earlier this week.

“The Japanese leader had just hit his ball out of the sand, and was walking up the side when he missed his step and fell backwards,” the Mail noted. “The 63-year-old fell head over heels into the sand but was swiftly back on his feet before his aide could reach him.”

Japanese television network that had sent helicopters into the sky caught the whole thing on camera.
