Karnataka BJP to Launch Massive Protest Under Leadership of Yeddyurappa Against ‘Corrupt’ Congress

Since the Congress government in Karnataka took charge there have been many charges against the government in which the government has been complete silence and not taking any appropriate action against the charges on their ministers, state leaders.

Karnataka’s CM Siddaramaiah has not removed any of his minister who had become tainted due to corruption charges points out Karnataka’s former Chief minister BS Yeddyurappa.

Here is the list of Karnataka Congress’s government recent corruption.

1- The wife of social welfare minister H Anjaneya’s wife was seen accepting an amount of rupees 7 lakh from a reporter posing as a contractor by private Kannada channel Suvarna News.



2- Karnataka minister DK Shivakumar’s  house was raided by IT department in which undisclosed income of rupees 300 crores was recovered. The raids were conducted on the premises of Karnataka’s minister. Cash and jewelry worth rupees 15 crores was seized during the searches.

3- Congress small scale industry minister Ramesh L Jarkiholi’s premises were raided by IT department in which undisclosed assets worth  Rs 162 crores and seized Rs 41 lakh cash.

4- Another raid was carried out by Income Tax department on premises of Mahila Congress president Lakshmi Hebbalkar. “Discrepancies in tax returns found by Hebbalkar,” said the IT department.


Karnataka BJP has launched a week long stir against the state government, particularly against power minister DK Shivakumar. Various properties linked to DK Shivakumar were raided by the Income Tax department for three consecutive days earlier this month.

“The BJP will launch a week long statewide agitation from Wednesday against the Congress government in general and DK Shivakumar in particular on the issue of corruption,” state party chief BS Yeddyurappa said in a statement.

Tomorrow at 10 am there is a massive protest near freedom park by state BJP under the leadership of BS Yeddyurappa against state government to protest against their scams.
