Kidnapped Hindu girl rescued by Right Wing Activists in Kolkata

Recently, a group of brave men from Kolkata prevented an incident of Love Jihad from happening in the city. On Friday local activists of various Hindu right wing organisations along with help of the Kolkata police rescued Puja Kurmi from a hotel room at city’s Khidirpore area.

Puja was allegedly kidnapped by Md Mohsin earlier in the month. Police detained a man who is identified as Mohsin’s uncle from the room where Puja was found however the main accused is yet to be arrested. Md Mohsin allegedly trapped the girl by feigning love and then kidnapped her. It is being speculated that he had plans of trafficking her to some miscreants in Nepal.

According to sources, Mohsin first took her to Uttar Pradesh and then to Bihar before returning back to Kolkata. He was supposedly planning to escape into Nepal from West Bengal. If claims are to believed then in order to keep Puja unconscious, Mohsin and his associates gave her high doses of drug.

When Puja’s family didn’t receive any relief from the administration, after she went missing on 5th April, they reportedly approached the local Hindu activists for help.

Earlier this week, the activists who were searching for Puja received a tip-off that she has been brought back to Kolkata by the kidnappers, and is held captive in a room at Royal Guest house. Without making any further delay, the activists shared the entire information with city’s police, based on which the police recovered Puja.

The entire operation was spearheaded by local BJP leader and RSS activist Suraj Kumar Singh. In their efforts to rescue Puja the Hindu activists of Kolkata received help from their counterparts in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
