People from across the nation are mourning the the death of stateswoman Sushma Swaraj. Be it from the political field or film industry or sporting world or common men, everyone have expressed their condolences with the family of Swaraj.
However, even at such times, there were a few compassionless people who actually seemed to be celebrating the death of Sushma Swaraj. One of them was well known liberal, professor Ashok Swain, who in a post asked people to forget him posting any “Condolence tweet.”
Another twitter user named Ali Sohrab, who claims to be a journalist, made a similar heartless tweet. He suggested that Sushma Swaraj’s death is a reaction to the abrogation of Article 370 and for some unknown reasons went on to tag another VHP veteran in the tweet, Arun Jaitley.
Mr. Jaitley who served as Finance Minister in the first Modi government and occasionally held other portfolios as well, is also going through a bad health condition. One could only imagine what Sohrab tried to imply by tagging Jaitley in his tweet.
Sushma Swaraj was loved and respected only by Indians but other South Asians as well. She never shied away from helping those at need before thinking about anything else. People from all political parties in India have unanimously termed her death as a “National loss.”
