Madhya Pradesh Minister airlifted in Kamal Nath’s personal helicopter to Delhi AIIMS for minor injury

Madhya Pradesh education minister Vijay Laxmi Sadho was on Tuesday, airlifted in Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s private helicopter to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for a minor hairline fracture. The Minister had to be airlifted after she suddenly collapsed during a program at indore.

During the preliminary examination and a X-Ray scan, it was revealed that she had a hairline fracture in one of her shoulders. Interestingly, despite having a number of well-equipped hospitals in Indore, a decision was taken to shift the Maheshwar MLA to AIIMS in New Delhi.

Many have criticised the act citing that at a time when common patients have been struggling with the basic infrastructure to reach medical facilities for serious ailments, a minister is being offered special help from the state’s highest office for a minor injury such as a hairline fracture.

The machinery swung into action and the minister was airlifted to New Delhi in Kamal Nath’s personal helicopter. The development comes just over a month after Kamal Nath was elected as the Chief Minister of the state when Congress came to power in the assembly polls results that were announced on December 11.
