Mamata’s Lie Exposed; TMC student worker injured four days before Amit Shah’s Kolkata rally

Clashes ensured between the Trinamool Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday in Kolkata, after BJP President Amit Shah had claimed that TMC workers attacked his rally. The clashes also ensued that a statue of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was vandalized, wherein both TMC and BJP are in a war of words as to who is to be blamed for the incident.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was seen addressing a press conference in the aftermath of the violence on tuesday. She was accompanied by few of the TMC workers and student workers, one of them was Tirtha Pratim Saha, whom Mamata alleged was attacked by the BJP workers in the clashes.

Few BJP leaders have been suggesting that the person in picture, Tirtha Pratim Saha, was actually injured in an accident that occurred few days prior to Amit Shah’s rally. Several Indian Twitter users had also pointed out that he was injured in a bike accident four days ago.

Now as per reports on Zee News, Saha has admitted that he was actually indeed injured in a bike accident, much prior to Amit Shah’s Kolkata rally. On being asked why he dragged BJP into this issue, he claimed that BJP workers attacked him despite his current condition.
