Union Minister of State (MoS) for Home, Kiren Rijiju on Thursday termed the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee’s allegation against him of misusing government machinery as not only “rickety but ludicrous”.
Cong has become not only rickety but ludicrous. I used Home Ministry Helicopter not Air Force. And Cong never built roads so I had to fly! https://t.co/OhW7fqwSTl

And I don't use Helicopters for election campaign but to reach remote locations & official works. Meeting party workers is natural anywhere. https://t.co/yD03NVVlK6

Refuting the allegation, the MoS tweeted and clarified that he uses Home Ministry Helicopter not Air Force to reach remote areas for official works and not for election purposes.
The Congress party fragment of the state for this wrote a letter to the PM office and sought an investigation into the matter as according to them the Indian Air Force helicopters were used by the minister for the BJP rallies and the party meetings, not for the governmental purposes.
Stating this at a press meet held in Itanagar on October 31, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Takam Sanjoy reportedly said the party has sought a probe into the matter, specifically into chartering of Indian Air Force helicopters.
Se how Twitterati reacted to it.
