On Thursday, Mukul Roy addressed a Public Meeting for the first time after joining BJP. Thousands of BJP supporters and members from across Bengal gathered at Rani Rashmoni Road of Kolkata to hear Mukul Roy, and he didn’t disappoint them. At his very first address to the BJP supporters and members, Mukul Roy went all out against his former party and made serious accusations against them.
Roy began his address by saying that he has joined BJP after thinking a lot because TMC has now turned into a limited company.
Mukul Roy accused that the Biswa Bangla company which was one of the sponsors for FIFA-u17 world Cup is owned by none other than Abhishek Banerjee the youth leader of TMC and nephew of Mamata Banerjee. He further accused that Jago Bangla newspaper which is known as the mouthpiece of Trinamool Congress is also owned by Abhishek Banerjee. Mukul Roy also accused that contract for all the posters, banners, and other accessories of TMC is given to another company owned by same Abhishek Banerjee. Mukul Roy said that these facts are not known to even TMC leaders.
After making huge accusations against Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee, Roy shifted his focus to another senior TMC leader and Education Minister of West Bengal, Partha Chatterjee who has been very critical of Mukul as of late. Roy showed a poster of Nagtala udayan Sangha a Durga Puja headed by Partha Chatterjee. In the poster various chit-fund companies were listed as the corporate parteners of the puja. He alleged that Chatterjee, connived with chit fund companies and backed his claim through some
newspaper cut-outs showing his close association with chit-fund company owners.
Mukul Roy added that these are only first part of a three part expose of TMC. He promised that he will make more exposes at upcoming party meetings, which will be even larger than this one.
Despite rising deaths due to Dengue Fever, The Chief
Minister is unmindful and attending the film festival. More than 81 persons in the State have succumbed to Dengue, he said. He further predicted that the BJP will start its mission in Bengal from upcoming Panchayat elections and in 2021 will form government at West Bengal.
Addressing one of a huge gathering of BJP in West Bengal; Roy said, the footfall in the next meeting will be more than 1 lakh.
Apart from Mukul Roy. Other senior leaders like, State president Dilip Ghosh, Former State President Rahul Sinha and Kailash Vijayvargiya also addressed the meeting.
