Celebrated singer, S.P Balasubramanyam passed away on Friday evening. He was 74. Balasubrahmanyam was hospitalised in August at MGM Healthcare after testing positive for COVID-19, and while he reportedly did well initially, he took a turn for the worse, and was put on a ventilator and ECMO support.
The news of his demise has come as a shock for the entire nation. People from across the country and all walks of life have come toghther the mourn the loss. From the President to Prime Minister to megastars of film industry to those from the world of sports, hardly anyone was untouched by the melodies of Balasubrahmanyam. And with no more amongst us, all of them have expressed their deep sorrow and a feeling of loss.
