The National Commission for Protection of Children’s Rights (NCPCR) has taken cognizance of a complaint filed against Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair for stalking a minor girl online.
Recently, Zubair engaged in a twitter duel with a person user named Jagdish Singh. However, crossing certain limits, Zubair went on to make some remarks about the minor granddaughter of Jagdish who is seen in his DP. After this, several of Zubair’s followers also made objectionable remarks about the minor.
Engaging in Twitter fights is nothing new or unusual in this age and time. But unnecessarily dragging a minor and making remarks about a minor can’t be accepted in a civilized society. Especially if it is coming from a person who is known to exercise a level of influence in social media.
