A guy from our editorial team often says: Every time Pappu opens his mouth, he moves one step further away from the Prime Minister’s post.
To mark the end of Rahul Gandhi’s gimmicked Kisan Yatra in UP, he made the shameful statement. Rahul said:
“Jo hamare jawan hain jinhone apna khoon diya hai, Jammu & Kashmir mein khoon diya hai, jinhone Hindustan ke liye surgical strike kiye hain, unke khoon ke peeche aap chhupe hain. Unki aap dalali kar rahe ho. Yeh bilkul galat hai.“
[You (PM Modi) is hiding behind those jawans of ours, who have given their blood for the country in Jammu & Kashmir & conducted the surgical strike for India. You are brokering their blood. This is absolutely wrong.]
Rahul Gandhi’s statement immediately created ripples. Not just the national political ecosystem, but all of India is outraged by such a statement at such a time, when there are soldiers being martyred everyday. Instead of making this a moment of national solidarity, Rahul Gandhi is using this as an opportunity to attack the Union Government.
