Prime Minister Narendra Modi extends lockdown till 3rd May, relaxation in risk free areas from 20th April

In his address to the nation on Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government has come to the decision of extending the nation wide lockdown to 3rd of May, after consulting with state governments and experts.

Prime Minister also said that in coming one week, the lockdown would be implemented more strictly. And after that, some relaxation may be given to areas which are found to be completely risk free from coronavirus outbreak.

The Prime Minister praised the people of the country and their patience in fight against COVID-19.
