Rahul Gandhi’s aide Sam Pitroda compares Indians using mobile phones as ‘Monkeys’ playing with a new toy

Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s top aide Sam Pitroda has made yet another controversial statement. He has gone ahead to compare Indians using mobile phones as ‘monkeys playing with a new toy’.

In a video clip shared by Republic TV, he said, “Indians are not using connectivity effectively. But you know it’s world over today, this is a new toy. So all of a sudden every monkey you have is given a new toy and they are fiddling with it. Okay. They don’t know what to do with it yet. I think it will take 5-10 years to figure out that you can do a lot more with it than you are doing now. Today, it is entertainment, you know, gossip lies. Lies get amplified on social media”

Earlier in a video that was viral on Social Media, Sam Pitroda was heard saying that taxes will go up due to Rahul Gandhi’s dream NYAY scheme and that the middle class should be willingly ready for this instead of being selfish. NYAY scheme promises to give rupees 72,000 for free to 20% of India’s poorest population.
