When we travel in Indian railways, It happens that most of the time, we are charged more than the MRP especially for water bottles. We have to buy at the price mentioned because there is no other option.
Aman Narang was travelling in Chandigarh- Amritsar Superfast express, when seller told him the price of a water bottle is Rs. 20 instead of MRP 15, he didn’t seat back. He tweeted to Ministry of Railways and action was initiated.
Railway authorities fined the Catering Licensee with instructions to the concerned staff.
