Mumbai saw Tuesday the highest voter turnout in the last 25 years in the BMC polls. The record voting by the Mumbai voters worked for Shiv Sena, which is all set to lead the richest municipal body of the country for the fifth consecutive time.
If Shiv Sena stamped its authority as the king of Mumbai, the BJP emerged as the leader of rest of Maharashtra. The Shiv Sena is also leading in Thane. the BJP is likely to have Pune, Nasik and Nagpur municipal corporations in its kitty.
