Rhea Chakraborty was giving Sushant Singh doses of banned drugs, hints her WhatsApp chat

The Sushant Singh Rajput death mystery appears to has taken a shocking turn after several deleted chats of his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty hinted towards a drug angle in the case. In a few chats, Rhea allegedly even spoke about giving some doses to “him.”

The chats were retrieved by Enforcement Directorate (ED) who are probing money laundering allegations against the actress. However, finding a new drug angle, they forwarded the newly discovered evidences to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NBC), who have now registered a fresh FIR against Rhea. Apart from this, few media houses like Times Now have also claimed of accessing deleted chats of the actress.

A series of chats which surfaced on media over last few hours suggested that Rhea was interacting with several individuals regarding drugs, including one alleged dealer named Gaurav Arya. In one of the conversations with him, Rhea says “In case we speak about hard drugs, I haven’t been doing too much. Tried MDMA once,” and goes on to ask “You have MD?”

In another conversation between Rhea and one Jaya Saha, which is from November 25, 2019, the actress seems to be asking about how to use a particular drug. Jaya Saha texted, “Use 4 drops in coffee, tea or water, and let him sip it. Give it 30 – 40 mins for it to kick in.”

Reacting to the drugs angle, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer, senior advocate Vikas Singh, said, “We had said in the FIR that Sushant was being over drugged but what we meant then was a prescription drug.”

“In our FIR, we were under the impression that he was being over drugged and that this was some drug administered by a doctor or psychiatrist but now after this revelation, it looks like that those were not prescribed drugs. He was given hard drugs, banned drugs. Sushant’s family’s contention right from the beginning is that there was an attempt to control his mind and for that purpose, all this was being done,” he said.

“But, now as disclosed by some reports that it was a banned drug. If it’s a banned drug, then it will lead to abetment to suicide and murder. There’ll be a Narcotics Control Bureau issue too. Scope of proceedings will widen substantially,” he added.

Young actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra based residence on 14th June. Initially the death was declared as suicide by the police. However, several inconsistencies in the suicide theory which appeared in the days following led to the widespread belief that there is more to the case.

As of now, the actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty finds herself under the radar as one of the main suspects for abetment to suicide. The Supreme Court recently handed over the investigation to Central Investigation Bureau. Separately, Enforcement Directorate are also probing financial aspects of the case. And with the latest findings, Narcotics Control Bureau have also become a part of the probe.
