Shambhunath Raigar , who killed a Muslim, to contest LS polls

In view of the 2019 elections, all political parties are trying to get some bargaining chips in their hands and luring new workers in their parties from other parties.

Shambhunath Raigar, who is presently accused of murdering a Muslim man and burning his body, will be contesting from Agra on the party ticket. Other candidates will be announced soon.

Raigar, who has been in Jodhpur jail after his arrest, has reportedly been offered a ticket from Agra in the Lok Sabha polls by Uttar Pradesh Navnirman Sena.

Sena president Amit Jani had recently announced the names of five candidates which included Raigar’s name saying that he wanted Hindutva faces for the polls and there was no one better than Raigar from Agra which is a seat reserved for the Scheduled Castes.

Talking to media, Jani said his party will raise the Hindutva issue as it should be raised.
