Shehla Rashid mocks Death threat letter to PM Modi

The Pune Police on Thursday told a court that they have allegedly seized a letter from the residence of one of the five persons, who were arrested on Wednesday for “links” with the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist), that hinted at plans to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi in “another Rajiv Gandhi-type incident”.

The letter has shocked the entire country. Most of the media houses covered the story. Debates and discussions on News Channel continue further.

Few even alleged the letter to be fabricated for political purposes, for instance, Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Sitaram Yechury said the court should decide the matter. Security forces have been taking care of the politicians in India. I don’t know (if it’s real or not); let court decide that, he said.

But it seems Shehla Rashi went one step ahead and made a bizarre statement about the PM Modi’s assasination threat. She tweeted,“Looks like RSS/Gadkari is planning to assassinate Modi, and then blame it upon Muslims/Communists and then lynch Muslims #RajivGandhiStyle”

Yes you read it right, but if this was not enough she also alleged PM Narendra Modi to be a “Mass Murderer”.

These are the most shocking allegations made by any of leader or political activist till now in regards to threat letter to PM Modi.

But does Shehla Rashid has proofs, which can be provided in court, would she be making the proofs public about what she tweeted. If she has proof that it’s an RSS or Nitin Gadkari’s plot to assassinate PM Narendra Modi, she should right away make it public.

Remember, Shehla Rashid’s claim, “I am a Muslim. We don’t lie”, if she had not lied in her tweet then she should produce proofs.

In this case there are two possibilities, if Shehla Rashid does not provides the appropriate proofs:

  1. As per her claim, being a Muslim, she lied, that means she is not a Muslim.
  2. Or Her claim itself is wrong.

As expected by many, Nitin Gadkari will not tolerate such baseless allegations and will be taking legal action against these comments. We are claiming it as baseless, as Shehla has not provided any evidence.

Without naming Shehla Rashid, official twitter account of Nitin Gadkari tweeted, “I would be taking legal action on anti-social elements who have made bizzare comments; attributing personal motives to me, regarding the assassination threat to PM @narendramodi”

Surely, there might be chances that Shehla Rashid would use the legal case made by Nitin Gadkari against her to get to fame and not to forget the minority card might come out any time.
