Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will hold a public meeting in Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur on May 30, ahead of Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s rally to launch poll campaign on June 6, the first anniversary of killing of six farmers here in police firing last year.
Over one lakh people are expected for both rallies as BJP and Congress are trying to woo farmers ahead of the state polls later this year.
Chouhan will be speaking to farmers in Mandsaur ahead of the protest by over a dozen farmer organisations from June 1-10.
He visited Ratlam on Saturday. In Neemuch on Sunday, Chouhan said Congress is spreading anarchy in Madhya Pradesh and wants to play with blood.
