Shocking Minority appeasing policy of Karnataka government

The directorate of Minorites, Government of Karnataka has sent a letter to the IIT Madras. Saying that the government of Karnataka has asked for applications from the students of Minority communities ( Muslims, Christians, Jain, Sikh and Buddhists) of Karnataka, so that they can avail one time incentive of Rs.2 Lakhs for full course duration, who are pursuing Higher education in these following institutions

Indian Institute of Technology(IITs) .

Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIITs).

National Institute of Technology(NITs) .

Indian Institute of Management(IIMs).

Indian Institute of Science, education and research(IISERs).

All Indian Institute of Medical science(AIIMS) .

All National Law University School(NLU).

Institute of National Importance(INIs).

Institute under state legislature act(IUSLAs) .

Indian Institute of Sciences(IISc) .

The letter also instructs to put the Incentive Scheme notification on the notice boards of all the institutions.

This seems to be another move by the Congress government of Karnataka, before the Assembly elections in 2018. The Congress clearly seems to be trying to attract all the non Hindu communities under one umbrella to counter BJP and Hindutva . Here is the Letter sent by the Government of Karnataka to the IIT Madras.
