State of States is an initiative by Satyameva Jayate that focuses on the good work being done by the state governments or central government in a particular state. The main focus is to highlight positive stories that are going to benefit a specific state. Such news items are rarely picked up by the national media houses and are mostly ignored except in form of a news article somewhere. Tarikul Islam, the Bangladeshi terrorist arrested in connection with Burdhwan blast, is believed to have acquired Aadhaar card and Voter Card to project himself as an Indian citizenship and avoid being arrested by the NIA, official sources said here today.

Mohammad Zaki entered the deep well to pull out the bovine which had fallen into it accidentally in the Aishbagh police station area in the state capital yesterday.

A crowd gathered around the well which is situated in the Muslim-dominated area and without waiting for assistance from the authorities extended a helping hand to Zaki in his noble mission.

Traitors of the nation might be ready with to sign new mercy petitions as a special MCOCA court on Wednesday sentenced five convicts to death in the 2006 Mumbai train bombings case. The five — Kamal Ansari, Faisal Shaikh, Estesham Siddiqui, Naveed Khan and Asif Bashir Khan — were given death penalty for committing murder and criminal conspiracy under Sections 302 and 120B of the IPC, respectively.
