With Elections Due In 48 Hrs, Muslim Body Issues ‘Fatwa’ In Karnataka To Vote For Congress

Ahead of the assembly elections in Karnataka State, the Karnataka Muslim Muttahida Mahaz has issued a ‘Fatwa’ to vote in favour of Congress party. They identify themselves as an umbrella body of Muslims in Karnataka and have decided to defeat parties which are communal and threat to society. It is no secret, that the Congress government’s soft approach on the minorities with crores of rupees being sanctioned for their religious places in many districts of Karnataka, notably in KG George’s constituency where nearly 50 crores was sanctioned.

The ‘secular’government uses the revenues collected from temples for the renovation, infrastructure upgrade and building new religious/educational buildings of Christians and Muslims. RTI replies have also confirmed that people belonging to religious minority occupy plum positions in the Hindu Religious and Endowments Department. The Congress government is facing severe anti incumbency over bad governance, spate of murders of Hindu activists, severe corruption, election malpractices and a series of ‘bhagya’ schemes draining the exchequer.

It must be noted here that the AMMM has never spoken on farmer suicides, failing infastructure in Bengaluru, rain havoc, traffic jams but get active during elections. AMMM has not come in the open to arrest those who raised Pro-Pakistan slogans and maintained a stoic silence.
